HAPPY REPEAL DAY!

Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the day the US government finally decided to repeal Prohibition and let us get on with our drinking in (relative) peace!

For Repeal Day, the LUPEC NYC branch has compiled the following list of each members favorite cocktail - if they could have anything RIGHT NOW.  Emeritus members were included in the email chain - all members are represented by their nickname initials 

Northwest Passage – Aviation  
2 ounces gin
1/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
Dash of creme de violette
Flamed lemon peel for garnish

Alabazam - Bramble en Rose 
3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
3-6 blackberries for muddling
1 ounce crème de mûre
1 1/2 ounces dry gin, (soft American style)
with a splash of sparkling rose 

Voilet Fizz - Caipirinha
1 lime, quartered
2 tsp fine sugar
2 oz cachaca (sweet Brazilian rum)

Montana Prairie Fire  - Gold Rush
2 oz bourbon
.75 oz lemon juice 
.75 oz honey syrup

Boiler Maker – Manhattan 
3/4 oz sweet vermouth
2 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 dash Angostura® bitters

Violet Fizz – Mojito 
2 ounces light rum
Club soda
2 tsp sugar
6-8 mint leaves
1 lime, halved

Fluffy Ruffle - Oh Henry 
1 oz bourbon 
1 oz Benedictine 
3/4 oz ginger ale 

Opal Hush - Pisco sour
1 1/2 ounce Peruvian pisco
3/4 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
egg white
3 dashes Angostura bitters

Ball Buster - Royal gin fizz
2 oz gin
juice of 1/2 lemons
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 egg (optional
carbonated water

Czarina – Sazerac 
2 parts brandy or rye whiskey, 
1 dash Peychaud's bitters, 
1 dash of Angostura bitters, 
1 teaspoon sugar or simple syrup, 
1 teaspoon absinthe

Silk Stockings – Sidecar
1 1/2 oz cognac
1 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
